Our department is ready to assist you in this search. We want to help you locate current bachelor and master students to address your technical communication challenges.

Talented workers

Scientific and Technical Communication (S&TC) students are available year-round and actively pursue internship experiences as part of their undergraduate education. The S&TC program at the University of Minnesota produces technical communicators who have unique backgrounds in communication strategies for science and technology.

Specific academic focus areas

  • Writing and editing
  • Small group, interpersonal, and organizational communication
  • Professional presentations, conducting meetings, and conflict resolution
  • Computer applications, graphics, and visual presentations
  • Information design and project management
  • Intercultural communication, values, and ethics
  • Communication theory and research
  • Areas of scientific and/or technical specialty

Recruit an S&TC intern

Recruiting students from the S&TC Program is simple and structured to ensure that the internship is a rewarding and a positive experience for both students and employers.
