Undergraduate Courses

Along with the B.S. degree, the Department of Writing Studies teaches all sections of first-year writing on the Twin Cities campus. See First Year Writing for more information.

We also offer courses that fulfill the University’s CLE and/or writing intensive requirements. Many of these courses will allow you to learn more about important and interesting topics. Some of our more popular courses include the following:
